The 2011 WWE Royal Rumble takes place on January 30th, 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts and features the first-ever 40 man Rumble match.
With superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, Rey Mysterio and CM Punk guaranteed to wrestle, it is going to be one of WWE’s most memorable events.
Instead of waiting for the live pay per view, follow this spoiler coverage and learn as much as you can before the big event.
2011 Royal Rumble Participants
According to WWE.com, there have already been 21 official superstars entered into the Royal Rumble.
Highlights among the list include Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry, John Morrison, Dashing Cody Rhodes, John Cena, CM Punk, and Sheamus.
This Royal Rumble features a large collection of rookie wrestlers, so expect a lot of quick eliminations and gain-ups from Nexus members.
Easy eliminations include Zach Ryder, Primo, Darren Young, and Yoshi.
Luckily there are 40 wrestlers included, because a lot of these wrestlers are almost wasted picks and hopefully help Kane extend his multiple Royal Rumble records.
2011 Royal Rumble Mystery Entrants
One of the best aspects to the Rumble are the mystery entrants. One of the biggest names to return will most likely be “The Game” Triple H.
Triple H returned and won a previous Royal Rumble, so hopefully he does not repeat this, but make a huge impact and feuds with another Rumble entrant.
Evan Bourne is due back from injury, and he can make a high-flying impact at the Rumble. After defeating Chris Jericho last summer, Bourne is ready to fly-high again and achieve more WWE success.
Look for a few WWE Legends to make a Royal Rumble appearance. This can include anyone from Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, IRS, Sargeant Slaughter, or “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Do not expect The Undertaker or Golddust to make Royal Rumble returns because they are still healing from injuries.
2011 Royal Rumble Winner
There are a lot of potential winners in this year’s Royal Rumble. Favorites include John Cena for his second win, CM Punk with the support of Nexus, John Morrison with a shocking Shawn Michaels-like win or Triple H with his “Comeback” win that we’ve seen so many times before.
A giant is due to win the Royal Rumble and two front-runners include the Big Show or recent WWE Heavyweight Champion Kane.
The best thing would be a Chris Jericho surprise return, elimination of Triple H and Jericho returns to headline Wrestlemania one more time.
