These are a set of special recipes, unique to the Feast of Winter Veil event. The recipes for Elixir of Frost Power, Edge of Winter, Enchant Weapon – Winter’s Might, Snowmaster 9000, Gloves of the Greatfather and Green Holiday Shirt all have a small chance of dropping from the Smokeywood Pastures Gift (contains 1 guaranteed at random) or the Ticking Present (about 10% chance to drop a random recipe in addition to the 2 normal items, 4-1% each)
Alchemy Recipe: Elixir of Frost Power. Requires 190 Alchemy to craft. Creates the Elixir of Frost Power, Battle Elixir that increases the user’s Frost spell power by 15 for an hour. Item level 38 and requires level 28 to use. The ingredients are 2 Dragon’s Teeth, 1 Khadgar’s Whisker and 1 Crystal Vial.
Blacksmithing Plans: Edge of Winter. Requires 190 Blacksmithing to craft the Edge of Winter axe which does 20.6 base dps, has a +3 stamina bonus and most interestingly has the chance on hit to blast its target for 30 frost damage. Edge of Winter is Uncommon quality, Item level 58 and requires level 33. Requires 10 steel bars, 1 Frost Oil, 2 Elemental Water, 2 Elemental Air and 2 Heavy Leather to craft.
Enchant Recipe: Enchant Weapon – Winter’s Might. Requires enchanting 190 and enchants a melee weapon to increase its frost spell power by 7. Adds a nice effect to the weapon as well (see pictures above) Enchant Weapon – Winter’s Might needs 3 Greater Mystic Essence, 3 Vision Dust, 1 Large Glowing Shard and 2 Dragon’s Teeth.
Engineering Plans: Snowmaster 9000. Requires 190 engineering, and allows the user to craft snowballs every 24 hours using condensed air (no reagents). The ingredients to make the Snowmaster 9000 are 8 Mithril Bars, 4 Gyrochronatom, 4 Snowballs and Frost Oil. Make sure to craft a Snowmaster 9000 while the Feast of Winter Veil is still going on so you can buy snowballs from the vendors.
Leatherworking Pattern: Gloves of the Greatfather. Gloves of the Greatfather require 190 leatherworking to craft. Leather hand slot item, 95 Armor, +9 Intellect, 40 Durability and requires level 33. Uncommon quality with Item Level 38. The ingredients to make Gloves of the Greatfather are 8 Heavy leather, 4 Elemental Earth and 1 Silken Thread.
Tailoring Pattern: Green Holiday Shirt. Requires Tailoring 190 to craft, and is purely for decoration. Unfortunately for tailors this is really the least worthwhile recipe that can be dropped. Not to be confused with Green Winter Clothes which is sold by the vendor and given as a gift in the mail that is used for the ‘Tis the Season achievement. The Green Holiday Shirt requires 5 Bolt of Silken Cloth, 4 Green Dyes and 1 Silken Thread to craft.
