Wheat Thins Crackers Flatbread in the Tuscan Herb flavor caught my attention because we used to eat Wheat Thins like they were going out of style in college.
The Tuscan herb flavor is a little more sophisticated than the kind we used to eat with that gooey Cheeze Whiz you squeeze from a can.
I was also curious to compare the Wheat Thins flatbread to the Town House flatbread crisps with Italian herbs, which sounded very similar and equally festive for the holidays. While the Town House brand has a bold sprinkling of garlic and red pepper, the Wheat Thins flatbread tasted to me of sun dried tomatoes and also garlic.
I typically pair flatbread with hummus such as Tribe Origins or Sabra. They are the perfect choice for a New Year’s Eve party paired with bubblies. The Wheat Thins Flatbread had a nice texture and could hold plenty of toppings.
