What race is golden voiced Ted Williams?
Wondering what race Ted Williams is, the homeless man with the “golden voice,” the perfect radio and TV ad voice? Ted Williams has shot to overnight stardom, courtesy of a Columbus Dispatch videographer and a rudimentary hand-held sign.
We now all know what golden voiced Ted Williams looks like, and of course, sounds like, and I’m sure many people are wondering what race he is. The former drug and alcohol user, who’s now been clean for two and a half years, appears to have some of the black race in him. However, because of his hair, I’d venture to say that Ted Williams is of mixed race, with either some white in him, and/or perhaps Latino or Native American.
You might be thinking, Gee, who cares about Ted Williams’ race, and what does that have to do with his rich, resonant voice? Well, don’t ask me; YOU’RE the one who clicked on this article !! Since everyone is now writing about Ted Williams and his voice, I decided to jump on the bandwagon, but choose a topic that nobody else has written about: what race Ted Williams is, the homeless man who now will be working as an announcer for the Cleveland Caveliers.
Mr. Williams is 53 and has seven daughters and two sons. He says that he grew up around alcohol and had always had a problem with drinking, but was a “functional” alcoholic. But in 1993, things took a turn for the worse and his world fell apart.
However, Ted Williams, speaking in his golden voice, has not revealed just why things spiraled downhill. Sure, he had always had a problem with drinking, but what made this father of nine suddenly decide to start doing coke? I have to wonder, what was missing in his life that he felt a need to turn to drugs? He had nine loving children. What was missing?
This overnight fame case of the man with the golden voice has been likened to that of Susan Boyle; both becoming overnight sensations because of their unique voices. I’m wondering if Ted Williams has a singing voice of any extent. On the other hand, Susan Boyle does not have a voice-over type of voice at all. Speaking and singing are two completely different skills, even though some people have both.
Ted Williams said that if you give money to a homeless person, don’t go away assuming that this person will spend it on drugs or booze. You won’t feel this way, however, if you give a homeless person some food. If you’re in the giving mood, buy a few meals at McDonald’s and hand the bags to the next homeless person you see at an intersection. In the meantime, what race is Ted Williams? Well…YOU clicked on this article, so it must mean something to you!
