This week, I have much the same as last week to report. Not much progress, not much change. There is hope on the horizon. I feel I have found a way to keep myself motivated to work for longer periods, or to work daily, rather than to goof off or find cleaning or cooking chores to do instead of writing.
I might as well start here. As far as my habit building goes, it’s been a bit slower to take hold than I had thought. I may take another week to make sure that my qigong practice habit is fully entrenched before adding the kung fu portion of the habit. I have found that I feel much better about practicing, however, and have done so 4 nights this past week, and once during a random time of day that was not a scheduled practice.
I have also been more frequently in seated meditation, although it is not often zen, but more often speaking with my “guides”. They don’t like to be referred to as such, which is why it is in quotes, but the relationship is much more easily understood that way, than any other available term.
For the week ending New Years 2011, I have written about 6 new articles, and channeled 2 through my “guides”. Those were rather unexpected, and took about the same amount of time 1 article would have taken me. Of those articles, I’ve put four of mine in for exclusive, and two for display only. The two written by the Seven were submitted non-exclusive.
All of the articles were written Monday and Tuesday last week, and submitted today, Monday January 3, 2011. This puts me 44 behind my weekly article writing goal, making this an incredibly unproductive week. The next one will be better.
None yet, still. I’m still showing one pending. I’m assuming this has something to do with the Christmas holiday at Yahoo! Contributor Network. It could also have something to do with the fact that I’ve only had some up for review for around a week. It usually takes my articles between two and three weeks to be reviewed for upfront payment.
Now I can be a bit more accurate than last week. Last week’s report (written last Monday, but published this Monday) had me standing at a Clout of 3 and an estimated page views of 546. This week, I still have a Clout of 3, and have an estimated page views of 614. That is an increase of 68 page views for this week.
Not as good as the last time, but the amount of new content is not as much as last week’s, and I’m showing exceptionally low levels for the entire week. I’m told this is normal activity for this time of year, as people are away from work, and visiting family, or otherwise occupied with things other than the internet.
That’s about it for the weekly report. I’ll probably start breaking down the number of page views each general subject I write on gets, so that it can be helpful for future tracking purposes. See you all next week, and I appreciate you all being my accountability partner(s).
