Week 16 NFL predictions and picks come from the Week 16 NFL schedule. Week 16 NFL predictions and picks include games that could determine which teams advance into the 2011 NFL Playoffs. The NFL also takes over Saturday’s for a while now, with a Saturday night game that isn’t quite as exciting as the scheduler thought it would be at the beginning of the season.
The week 16 NFL schedule begins on Thursday night again, with Carolina vs. Pittsburgh, in what could turn out to be the lowest ratings that the NFL Network gets for a game this season. It would be quite the embarrassment if the Steelers ended up losing that game. Likewise, the Dallas Cowboys should be ashamed of themselves if they lose on Christmas day to the under-manned Arizona Cardinals.
Sunday brings much more exciting games, including several that could dictate how divisions shake out. The San Francisco vs. St. Louis game is one of the really important ones, with the Rams having a chance to end the season for the 49ers with a win. If San Francisco can win this game, they will still be alive in the race for the NFC West. Then there is the Seattle vs. Tampa Bay game, one where both teams are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win that is very-much needed.
Later on Sunday is an interesting game of New York vs. Green Bay, where both teams will try and keep their hopes of making the 2011 NFL Playoffs. One of these teams probably won’t be making the postseason, and the winner of the game will take a huge advantage into the final week of the season.
The Monday night game is the one that we have been waiting for, with New Orleans vs. Atlanta taking center stage for the second time this season. Atlanta wins the division if they can beat New Orleans, and the Saints will clinch a wild card spot if they can win this game. It should be an exciting night of football, and might prove who the best team heading into the 2011 NFC Playoffs is going to be.
