Treasure Isle by zinga is a great game that will keep you entertained for hours. This Facebook game provides your imagination with the means to become the adventurer that you or your family member may long to be.
You can also act out your own pirate fantasies, without all the violence of the real pirates. One of my friends who introduced this game to me explained that she likes to pretend that each island is one that she must hunt in order to own the land. Truly you can become a pirate or a conqueror of these many islands.
The initial reminders and pop ups at the beginning of the start up in treasure isle is very annoying but one pop up is very useful as it reminds you of the gifts you have been sent and of who needs what gift.
You begin on your own island which is much like your own little Farmville. Once you complete your first island hunt, you will be back to your home where you can decorate but I would suggest that you go visit friends and treasure hunt some more so that way you can get more treasure and money.
You will be given a certain amount of “power” Since I am no longer a beginning player of Treasure Isle, I cannot tell you what that amount is but it’s enough to complete at least one small island. You will then run out of energy and there will a time limit to when you can receive more energy to dig again. (Unless you have food in your pack that provides energy) in most cases though you won’t have enough food to get enough energy for more than five more digs.
As you are digging, you will get little red words on the screen that will let you know if you are close to the random treasures throughout the island. My advice to you is to please finish the island before you move onto other ones because the treasures are spread out all over the place on the many different islands you can select from. Some islands will even allow you to replay them for a certain amount of times.
Once you get back to your own isle you will be able to plant some fruit that will take time for you to grow. If you have time you can set your alarm to go off for whatever time you choose for your fruit. The best time for you to select would be a time that you would be able to get back on the computer to “harvest” them.
In the corner of your island you will find a treasure chest. Every day you can visit that treasure chest for a new surprise. It also has options to upgrade once you get to a certain level but you need certain jewels in order to upgrade.
Do not worry about the jewels if you do not have them. Considering treasure isle works with the networking genius of face book, you can post your needs on your wall and friends may send you some.
All in all this is a very kid and user friendly game that is full of wholesome fun for the whole family. Treasure Isle is not a thrilling game but it is full of adventure and laughter that will be talked about all over Facebook!
