They also have plenty of seasonal events such as blue grass bands, a Mother’s Day weekend special, an annual “pickfest” and more. Being your credit card, grab a bag or basket and pick your own – fun for families. They also have a great store that sells fine foods, local milk, wine and more. A great experience.

An orchard means apples, and what delicious apples they have. Of course they also sell other fruits and have “pick your own” service as well. They host festivals and events such as Health & Nutrition seminars, “Johnny Appleseed Day,” and “Fall Family Fun days.” They also have been chosen vendors for such fun festivities like the “Hay Creek Festival” and “Berks Celtic Oyster Festival.” Their farm market has all sorts of fine foods, and their has garden center has plants, hanging flower baskets and more.

Not only do hey have fruit season (call for cherry picking times), they have a nursery that sells all sorts of plants and shrubs, trees, perennials and more. The market also sells honey, jams, pottery and other wonderful delights. They also participate at other farmer markets, join an Apple Harvest festival, host a Holiday Open house and so much more. Enjoy their picnic area. Worth a visit for locals and tourists alike.
Berry Fields Farm

The New York Times has listed this farm as one of the best to travel to. Located with in mountains and trees, this farm is secluded and has view to die for. This organic atmosphere is a must see, from their grass-fed cattle, all sorts of apples, blueberries, and varieties of vegetables. Just bring your own container to keep this farm “green.” They also have dining room where you can have a meal and a farm store where they also sell meats, dairy, baked goods and more. Call or check their website for events on the farm such as a blueberry festival. They even have lodging for those who need to stay overnight, so check out their accommodations.
Soergel Orchards Farm

This is a great farm to visit with all the wonderful activities they have. With “Ladies Night,” “Mother’s Day Craft Night,” the “Corn Roast Kick-off” and hay rides, this farm has plenty to do, besides finding wonderful produce, for the whole family. They sell all sorts of seasonal produce from broccoli to zucchini to spring onions, as well as fruits such as peaches, melons and plums. Check their seasonal schedule for what they have when you visit. Visit their garden center (plants, florals…), market (gourmet food), wine store, deli and more. Full service for all personalities. They also host private parties as well as pony parties (with games and food) for the kids.
Nature’s Comeback Bison Ranch

This is a very different kind of farm, but very interesting to visit – and they give tours on the weekends only (there is a fee.) They have great deals on meat packages to purchase, delicious eggs for sale, and fresh produce. They are vendors, such as at the Native American Festival. They follow “organic methods.” Call for an appointment.
