I am aware that combining an article on beauty and on politics can be dangerous, but I think there’s room for a discussion honoring at least a handful of the beautiful women political commentators that we have in this great country. Let’s put the political spectrum aside and talk looks: here are my picks for the top ten most attractive females who professionally perform some sort of political analysis.
Explanatory Note: I honestly tried to compose a non-partisan list featuring a wide-array of politically-minded women. But, sure, it looks as though I grouped my favorite conservative analysts together, throwing in a couple of liberal pundits as a token gesture after the fact. Well, whatever: I tried.
10. Michelle Bernard
Political and legal analyst for MSNBC, Michelle Bernard regularly displays her political know-how alongside her sophisticated looks. Without playing up her beauty too much, Bernard gives off a polished and put-together vibe that’s lovely.
9. Michelle Malkin
Cutie Michelle Malkin makes politics look good. No wonder MSNBC, Fox News Channel and C-SPAN all want her as a guest.
8. Rachel Maddow
I’m not sure Rachel Maddow would be complimented to be on a top ten list of beautiful commentators, but she deserves the distinction nevertheless. Despite what seem like her best efforts to downplay her natural good looks, Maddow still has a great face with stunning features.
7. Margaret Hoover
The great-granddaughter of President Herbert Hoover, Margaret Hoover is keeping the family politics alive and well. And, while looking gorgeous–all in a day’s work.
6. Meghan McCain
Adding spice to politics, Meghan McCain does her fair share of reporting on fashion and beauty, and even on dating. The trendy twenty-something is confident and plays by her own rules, which only adds to her visual appeal if you’re looking for a maverick.
5. Stephanie Miller
The long-time radio host who frequently visits cable news staples like CNN, Fox and MSNBC, Stephanie Miller adds beauty to wherever she goes. The eye-catching brunette makes a powerful point that the dark-haired among us need not change our locks: brown is beautiful.
4. Laura Ingraham
A political darling willing to bring makeup, hair products and wardrobe color to her professional world should be commended on this list, let alone when we’re talking about someone who actually looks like Laura Ingraham–what a lady.
3. Ann Coulter
The controversial pundit seemingly makes enemies everywhere she goes, but one has to wonder: are half of them just jealous that they don’t have Ann Coulter’s stunning frame and gorgeous locks?
2. Amy Holmes
Contributing to CNN, Amy Holmes makes television sense: she’s smart and she’s beautiful.
1. Sarah Palin
The polarizing figure won’t stop commenting, but who really wants her to go away anyway–who else makes politics look this good? Whether you want to listen to or mute what she has to say, the Alaskan drink of water is a sight to behold.
