Raleigh Downtown Farmer’s Market
At City Plaza on the 400 block of Fayetteville Street in Downtown

The Raleigh Downtown Farmer’s Market provides the public access to vendors including fisherman, bakers, cheese makers, and specialty food producers in addition to locally grown and farm fresh fruits and vegetables. The goals of this market include drawing business to the downtown area, supporting local business, and providing healthy and locally grown food to the residents. The market is open Wednesdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm April through October.

North Raleigh Farmer’s Market

This market meets year round on Saturdays from 8:00am to Noon and Wednesdays from 3:00-6:00pm. Market vendors present fruits, welfare approved meat only, wine, bread, cakes, pesticide free flowers and plants, and natural composting aids. This is one of the few year round markets.

Campus Farmer’s Market

The Campus Farmer’s Market is run by students who get educational experiences while providing Raleigh residents with fresh fruits, vegetables, chicken and eggs, bread, salsas, homemade soaps, and more. The website has a complete list of current vendors. This market is open on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 3:00pm September through April.

North Hills Farmer’s Market

The North Hills market is open on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm April through November and is accompanied by live entertainment. Here you will find locally produced fruits, vegetables, baked goods, dairy, meat, and nuts as well as crafts.

Wake Forest Farmer’s Market

Wake Forest also provides a year round market. December through March this market opens 3rd Saturdays. April through November the market will open on all Saturdays from 10:00am to Noon. The farmer’s market features farm fresh, local produce, honey, antibiotic and hormone free meat, herbs, jams and jellies.

Western Wake Farmer’s Market
1225 Morrisville Carpenter Rd
Cary, NC 27519

This is another year round market, open Saturdays from 8:00am to Noon April through November and 9:00am to Noon December through March. Here you will find produce, meat including seafood, earth friendly cleaning products, and crafts. Each week a guest educator is featured who will teach about topics such as canning, solar energy, and sustainability. This market is definitely worth a trip.
