With the surrounding New England forestry and plenty of family oriented activities within the casino, your children can spend hours being entertained at Foxwoods.
Tree House Arcade
While you feed money into slot machines, let your children feed tokens into slot machines at the two-story Tree House Arcade.
The main level of the arcade features ticket based games including “Deal or No Deal” and “Skill Ball.” A large trivia arcade allows four players to sit and play against each other in a game-show like fashion. There is a booth in the front that offers various prizes for tickets.
The second level of the Tree House Arcade is host to old school arcade games like Tekken, Street Fighter, and various pin-ball machines. The arcade choices remain consistent, but new ones are brought in every now and then.
MGM Rink
Ice skate year round at The Rink. This ice skating venue is hosted at the MGM Grand portion of the Foxwoods resort and allows skaters of all ages. Prices vary by age, but certain days allow free ice skating for Dream Card members.
Unless your children are over 13, parental supervision is required at The Rink.
Pequot Trails
Enjoy fresh air and the beautiful Connecticut forest on Foxwoods’ own Pequot Trails. The long weaving trails go up through the hills in the back of Foxwoods and are easily accessible.
There are multiple trails to choose from and each one brings you around a different section of the forest. The trails are only open during daylight and can be accessed from the Grand Pequot Hotel entrance.
Pequot Museum
Learn about national history, prehistoric history and Native American history at the Foxwoods Pequot Museum.
The Museum features more than a dozen exhibits and interactive features that showcase Native American life and history, especially the Pequot Indian tribe.
The Native American design is in full bloom at this educational museum, with a flourishing amount of tribal history on display. Visit their Official Webpage for more information and prices.
The Candy Shell
Buy your children an edible souvenir at The Candy Shell. This M&M themed store features cups, t-shirts, and other collectibles featuring the famous M&M mascots.
The highlight is a whole wall filled with multi-colored M&M candies. Each candy is separated by color and visitors can fill a plastic bag with any color they choose. The Candy Shell is located among other Foxwoods shops and the vibrant colored shop panels cannot be missed.
