1. Plants VS Zombies: In this game the player tries to stop the invasion of zombies into their house by using different types of plants. There are many levels and game play options that keep you playing for hours. Your other mission is to complete all of the achievments in the game. Some of these include “collect all 49 plants(including plants from Crazy Dave’s Shop” or “Accumulate 8,000 sun during a single level”. Some of those may sound a little confusing at first but they all make sense once you start playing. You can get this for just $2.99 at the app store.
2. Fruit Ninja: In this game you act as a ninja weilding a sword trying to cut as much fruit as possible.There are four different game modes including classic, a mode where you slice as much fruit as you can before 3 fruits drop or you slice a bomb, Zen Mode where you get as many fruit slicing combos before the time runs out, multi-player, where you play against online players, and arcade mode, a game in which you slice fruit getting combos and power ups before the time runs out. Arcade mode is my personal favorite. You can get this for $.99 in the app store or try it out with the lite version.
3. Angry Birds: In this game you shoot “angry” birds out of a slingshot in an attempt to make the enemy pigs explode. There are hundreds of levels which leave you constant playing. It may sound a little bit weird but it is a great game which has left it at one of the top games in the app store for weeks. Once you beat the game you can redo it and try to get perfects on every level. Also it gives you the ability to search for “Golden Eggs” throughout the game which allow you to play bonus games. You can get this game for $.99 in the app store or try out the lite version first.
4. Doodle Jump: Its just a classic. You play as a little doodle creature working his way higher and higher up platforms. The game is never ending and you work to beat your score as well as other scores from players around the world. This game also stayed in the top ranks of games in the app store for a very long time and is worth trying out. I found myself playing it over and over in my free time. It has a five star rating with over 5000 ratings. You can get this game for only $.99 in the app store.
5. Robot Unicorn: This is a very odd game but highly addicting. You play as a unicorn jumping through the game jumping over obstacles and bursting through stars. You gain points by getting combos of successive burst jumps. Once you die three times your score is recorded. You try to beat your score over and over and it is very addicting. You can try out this game on Facebook or buy it in the app store for $.99.
