Have you ever seen a woman make a huge mistake with her beauty regime or her fashion choices? I can be fairly certain that there is a resounding affirmative answer to that. However, there are a few things that stand out and make it difficult not to stare or laugh even as we feel badly about it.
Tip Number One: Make sure your foundation is not orange. Find a shade that is close to your actual skin’s color. Use a sponge to spread the foundation over your face, evenly. Once that is done, apply the powder in the same manner. I feel badly when I see a woman who is wearing enough foundation and powder to cover the faces of four women. I cannot help thinking about Tammy Faye Bakker, so I laugh. Then I feel like a total jerk for laughing at a person who probably has low self-esteem and low confidence, but I still laugh. I think I know where I’ll be going when I die.
Tip Number Two – Please, understand. When you are overweight that you should not wear revealing clothes. It is much more attractive for an overweight woman to use her clothing to conceal her problem areas. I can vouch for this, as I am overweight, myself. Wearing things that are too tight, too short or cut too low just do not work for the voluptuous. You end up looking pretty gross. No tube tops, no Daisy Duke, NO spandex, or anything out of which you can fall. Also, watch out for muffin top and camel toe causing jeans.Just because you can get them onto your body and button them, it does not mean that you should. These days, you have to be careful what you wear in public, or you may end up having your picture ridiculed on the Internet.
Tip Number Three – Be careful how much you pluck. I have seen this happen so many times. A person will get a little overzealous with the tweezers or a razor, and poof! No more eyebrows. Then they begin to draw eyebrows until their own come back. If this happens to you, I recommend buying an eyeliner/eyebrow pencil that matches your hair as much as possible. Perhaps a few shades darker would be best. I knew a girl who shaved her eyebrows. I had to avoid her until the eyebrows grew back. You could guess her moods by the shape of her daily eyebrow art. Again, I’m mean. I cannot keep a straight face at some of the attempts to cover lack of eyebrows.
Well, I’m certainly proving how nice I’m not. I’m sure that people have laughed at me when I had to draw my eyebrows, when I had to wear pants that were too tight, and when I was learning how to apply make-up. the key word here is: learn. We all have to learn how to look our best. The tips were just to advise a person where to start.
