If a trip to the Coachella Valley is in your future, you will definitely want to check out the casino resorts which are conveniently situated throughout the area. They offer everything from fine dining and spa treatments to luxurious amenities, entertainment and of course, state-of-the art gaming and casino club benefits.
#5 Spotlight 29 Casino, Coachella, Ca.
The Spotlight 29 Casino is located on the east end of the Coachella Valley, with easy access from the 10 freeway. It is just a short drive from the Empire Polo Grounds, the home of Coachella Fest and The Stagecoach Country Music Festival. This casino features live music on the casino floor, as well as televisions in the gaming areas. There is a poker room, weekly blackjack tournaments, and 2,000 slot machines, including the American Idol Multi-play slots. This casino has some of the lowest table limits available in the valley. Their club membership features numerous gifts, match plays, and slot credits. Talk to a casino host for food credits and entertainment comps. Food selections range from a food court featuring McDonalds to the Jem Prime Steakhouse, a fine dining experience that food connoisseurs will not want to miss. I highly recommend the Jem Signature Steak wrapped in Applewood Bacon and topped with Gorgonzola cheese.

#4 The Spa Resort Casino, Palm Springs, Ca.
Visitors to downtown Palm Springs will enjoy The Spa Resort and Casino. The Casino is located in downtown Palm Springs, and a short walk from the Thursday night Street Fair. The hotel is actually located down the street from the hotel, which makes it less appealing to some visitors. The casino boasts multiple table games, and does have a single deck blackjack game as well as double deck, and a 6 deck shoe game. The limits are slightly higher on the table games here, and there is a high limit area as well. This casino’s Paradise Rewards Club points are also redeemable at the Agua Caliente Casino, and players have their choice at which hotel they would like to redeem their stays. Other Membership rewards include gifts, match play and slot credits. The Spa features a mineral water hot pool which is very relaxing. Other hotel amenities include fitness classes and massage therapy and spa treatments.

#3 Morongo Casino Resort and Spa Cabazon, Ca.
This is the big daddy of the Coachella Valley casinos. It is located at the west end of the Coachella Valley and it comes in at number three on my list only because it tends to be very crowded on the casino floor. Morongo Casino Resort and Spa has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and there are always several resort packages available which offer dining, spa, gaming, or golf credits. There are 85 table games, over 2,000 slot machines, a poker room as well as bingo. The Vibe nightclub is a great place to spend a night on the town, or if bowling is more your speed, this casino also has a 24 lane bowling alley. The live entertainment here is top notch, and the restaurants will blow your mind. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Desert Hills Premium Outlet Mall and Cabazon Outlet Mall so you can spend some of your casino winnings.

#2 Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa Rancho Mirage, Ca.
If your plans take you to Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, or Thousand Palms, Agua Caliente Casino should be your gaming destination. Located directly off of the 10 freeway, you can’t miss this resort. It features the Sunstone Spa which offers energy therapies and massage as well as a fitness center. They have also been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Award. The Casino Hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the casino has a variety of table games including Pai Gow Poker and Mini Baccarat. The limits on most tables tend to start at $10. There is a great selection of slot machines at various denominations, and they often offer bonus promotions on slots for players who have their Paradise Rewards Cards inserted. The Rewards from this club include free rooms, match play, and discounts on concerts and events held at The Show. The Lounge is a bar which features live bands and there is no shortage of dancers here, so put on your dancing shoes and get ready to get down. If you take a walk on the grounds at night, you will find that there is plenty of spacious seating near the outdoor fire, a nice place to sit and chat or just take a break from it all.

#1 Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Indio, Ca.
My top pick for Coachella Valley Casinos has got to be the Fantasy Springs Resort. I have player’s club cards to almost all of the local casinos, but the thing that keeps bringing me back here is the friendly staff. Everyone from the casino hosts to the pit staff, the dealers, and even the waitresses take time to smile and learn my name. I get a warm welcome every time I come in. There are always seats available at the table games, and they have limits as low as $5 for a 6 deck shoe game of blackjack. My personal favorite is the $10 minimum Double Deck Blackjack. There are 40 table games and 2,000 slots in all denominations. They feature off-track betting, and have a large Bingo hall. The rooms are not as big as the ones at Agua Caliente or Morongo, but they are clean and nicely appointed, and after all, when you’re gambling, who spends too much time in the room anyway? The grounds here are beautiful, and there is an outdoor concert area called the Rock Yard which is out of this world. The Special Events Center plays hosts to some of the biggest names in entertainment, and the LIT Lounge provides a place for local talent to showcase their talent. The resort also has an amazing 18-hole golf course, claimed to be one of the most beautiful in the valley, and a 24 lane bowling alley. There is a good reason why Fantasy Springs Resort Casino was named a 2010 Casino Player Best of Gaming Winner, and is my personal favorite too.
