Even though she is only 21 years old, Taylor Swift has already made quite an impact on the music landscape and has already released three albums, including Fearless which won Album of the Year at the Grammy’s and her most recent work Speak Now. Taylor usually deals with topics of romance and love gone bad and has developed a more poppy sound away from her country roots. Putting together this list I chose what I think Taylor Swift’s best songs are from her first three albums and each of them is represented pretty evenly here. You may also enjoy: Maroon 5 Best Songs
Back to December- Taylor laments her past mistakes in a relationship and wishes that she could take them all back and make things right again.
Enchanted– Your eyes whispered “have we met?”Across the room your silhouette starts to make it’s way to me the playful conversation starts. Counter all your quick remarks like passing notes in secrecy
Never Grow Up– Never Grow Up is easily one of her best and most powerful songs.
Dear John– Song about her relationship with John Mayer and it really shows that she is still a young woman that is still a bit naïve.
The Story of Us– The story of us looks a lot like a tragedy now. Awesome song about things not going the way she planned in a relationship and dealing with the aftermath.
You’re Not Sorry– You don’t have to call anymore. I won’t pick up the phone, this is the last straw. You’re Not Sorry sounds great and is very relatable.
Come in With the Rain– Come in With the Rain is my personal favorite song, it’s quite amazing.
The Way I Love You– This song sounds kind of familiar like I’ve heard it from someone else but The Way I Love You is still a good track.
Love Story– It’s a love story baby just say yes. Love Story starts off slow and kind of quiet before Taylor really owns the chorus.
You Belong With Me– Very catchy song about wanting to be with someone who is currently with someone else.
Mine– You made a rebel out of a careless man’s careful daughter. You are the best thing that’s ever been mine. Taylor’s voice is great on here.
Sparks Fly– Drop everything now. Meet me in the pouring rain. Kiss me on the sidewalk
Take away the pain.
Teardrops on My Guitar– I like when she slows things down as she does on this track because her vocals really get a chance to shine.
Our Song– Our Song is definitely more country than some of her more recent material but it is still enjoyable to a more pop/rock oriented audience.
Picture to Burn– Not the usual ‘I’m in so much pain’ break-up song but more of a ‘you suck and I will have my revenge.’
