Eyes Lips Face is a brand of cosmetics that I have only purchased in stores.
I have known for a while that they have a website in which you can buy their products off of, but have never really had a reason to since I could pick their products up at my local Target.
My husband never knows what to get me for Christmas, so I decided to order a few things from the ELF website.
I had recently noticed that they were offering free shipping to any order that was $15 or over.
I thought that spending only $15 for a little present was a good deal, so I decided to purchase some items that were not being sold at any stores around me.
One of the products was a blush. I have been loving blushes lately. I don’t know why, but there is something about a pink or peach blush that I just really like using now.
I decided on getting a light pink color this time as most of my colors are coral or peachy.
ELF’s “Natural Radiance Blush” seemed a good buy at only a dollar, so I chose the color “Shy”. This was the lightest true baby pink that I could find in their collection.
I waited patiently and received my package on Christmas Eve. I was really excited to see all my products.
The blush is so small. I realize that it was only $1, so it’s not that big of a deal, but just know that the blushes are a lot smaller than you think they will be.
The color is very pretty. It is a light pink color that would be perfect on light to medium skin tones. I also think this is a great product for young girls and teens.
The pink has a little bit of shimmer, but it mostly shows up a sheer glowy color on the skin.
It is easily buildable, but I just wanted something more natural and it is very easy to get a light pink flush with this blush.
It is almost sheer when applied lightly and gives a nice highlight effect to your cheeks.
This is the perfect blush to put just on the apples of the cheeks.
The one thing I do not like is the packaging.
It is clear and small and is almost square.
I did not know how to open it though. Instead of popping open, it slides open and to me, this was so annoying. I was using so much force just to slide the blush out; I thought I was going to break it.
I cannot shut the blush completely because I am afraid that I will not be able to open it again. This is a real bummer because I thought that because of the small size that this blush would be great for travel. I would never take this one with me because it won’t close properly.
I am hoping that I just got a bad case and that the other shades packaging are better because there are other colors that I would get.
Overall, this blush is nice and well worth the $1.
