Shop at Daytona Beach Area Farmers Markets

The Daytona Beach area hosts a number of farmers markets each week. Local farmers display plants and produce for sale alongside locally made products offered by crafts-people, bakers, canners, and an assortment of other trades. The markets range from small gatherings, where shoppers can find what they are looking for quickly, to vast businesses, where people can stroll up and down isles for hours.

An old-fashioned open air market can be found at the Port Orange Flea and Farmers Market at 5005 S. Ridgewood Avenue. Open Thursday through Sunday from 7:00am – 2pm, the approximately 120 vendors offer anything fresh produce to just about any item you can imagine. The Downtown Daytona Beach Farmers Market is a traditional farmer’s market held on Saturday mornings in the parking lot of Jackie Robinson Stadium on City Island. Oftentimes, customers can buy produce right from the back of a farmer’s truck. There is fresh locally grown produce, baked goods, spices, jams, jellies and more. Ranked among the top 5 in the nation by USA Weekend and named one of the Travel Channel’s Top Pick in the world, the Daytona Flea and Farmers Market is a place no one should miss. Located at 2987 Bellevue Avenue, just off of I-95, this market has hundreds of vendors selling produce, plants and new or used merchandise. The market is 95 percent undercover and misting fans provide comfort on hot summer days. Two buildings are air-conditioned. It’s open 9am – 5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A new market opened in 2011. The Holly Hill Farmers Market meets from 7:30am – 2pm on Fridays at the Hollyland Park, 1066 Ridgewood Avenue. Sponsored by the Holly Hill Community Redevelopment Agency and Farms2U, the market features local farmers, jams, jellies, honey, fruits, vegetables and even homemade pet treats. Open on Thursdays from 12:00pm-5:00pm is the Ormond Beach Farmers Market. Located on the Halifax River in beautiful Rockefeller Gardens the small market has fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, honey, Thai cusine, jewelry, and live entertainment.
