Reese’s Peanut Butter Filling Recipe
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Mix together well. Mixture will be crumbly at first, but keep mixing until it sticks.
Make brownies: Pour half of your brownie mix into your pan, sprinkle this filling over it and then pour the rest over the top. Bake as usual.
Easy Brownie Recipe
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 tbsp margarine
1/2 tsp maple extract
1/2 cup flour, heaping
Preheat oven to 325*.
Line an 8×8 square pan with no-stick foil.
Cream sugars and eggs.
Melt butter and chips together in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Add extract.
Mix chocolate mix into egg and sugar mixture.
Add flour and salt. Mix until combined.
Pour mixture into pan.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
If you need them to cool quickly, remove from pan by lifting out foil (be careful, it may still be hot) onto a cutting board. Place entire board with brownies still in foil into the refrigerator until cool enough to cut.
Make cookies: Take your favorite chocolate cookie recipe and place a dime sized amount of this filling in the center. Make sure filling is completely covered by cookie dough and bake as usual.
My Favorite Chocolate Latte Cookies Recipe
1 cup margarine, softened
2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/8 cup instant coffee (dry granules)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 ounces chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350*. Line 2 cookie sheets with no stick foil. Cream margarine and sugar together with an electric mixer. Add eggs and mix until well blended.
In a separate bowl, mix together: flour, cocoa, coffee, baking powder and soda and salt. Add dry mixture to wet mixture until well combined. Add in chocolate chips and mix.
Drop onto foil lined pans each one being about tablespoon size. Drop about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Make truffles: Roll filling into 1 inch balls and freeze. Dip into melted chocolate and allow to dry.
Make brownie truffles: Cook brownies as usual. Allow to cool. Rip off a piece of brownie, large enough to roll into a 1 inch ball. Place a dime sized amount of filling into the center of each ball. Freeze and then dip into melted chocolate and cool.
Make peanut butter cups: Using peanut butter cup shaped candy molds, pour melted milk or semi-sweet chocolate into the mold, place about a nickel sized amount to filling over them and then top with more melted chocolate.
Peanut Butter Cup Bars Recipe
1 cup margarine, room temperature
1 cup smooth peanut butter, heaping
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups graham crumbs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Line a 9×13 baking dish with no-stick foil.
With a spoon, mix together peanut butter and butter until combined.
Add powdered sugar and graham crumbs. Mix well.
Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish and press down evenly with spoon.
Place chips in a glass dish and melt in microwave. Melt on high for 30 seconds and stir. Place in for another 30 seconds then stir again. (If chips are still not melted place back into microwave for another 15 seconds until melted.)
Immediately spread melted chocolate over peanut butter layer.
Refrigerate until chilled and cut into 1-2 inch bars.
No Bake Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
1 1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 packet hot cocoa mix
Mix peanut butter and sugar.
Roll into 1/2 inch balls.
Roll into hot cocoa mix.
Flatten with flat bottomed cup.
Store air tight.
