Going out to dinner or meeting friends for a drink at a bar is always fun. And sometimes when we go out to dinner or a bar, we also like to enjoy music, so below find some places where you can listen to the piano while you eat dinner or have a drink in the city of Philadelphia.
If you like to get dressed up (jackets required for the men) and eat some really delicious food (large portions too, but the prices do reflect that) this is the place for you. With a live piano and base player every night, this is a great location to have dinner with friends and family for a special occasion. Located on Locust Street in the Radisson Warwick hotel. Reservations a must (except for the bar).
Jolly’s Dueling Piano Bar
Less formal than The Prime Rib, this place is a “party every night” according to them. They have all kinds of specials for girls night out, happy hour and more. You request a song to the piano player(s), give them a tip, and they play they song they want for the best tip they get. If someone does not like the song, they you can “duel” as they say for a better song with a better tip. A lot of fun in this place. On Chestnut Street close to Rittenhouse Square. Reservations recommended.
Tavern on Camac
This piano bar is open everyday fro 4pm until 2am, so if piano music and fun is what you want, this place has it. Located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, there are three floors with a restaurant, dance floor and performance area as well as their piano bar and open mic. Oh, and this is a gay and lesbian bar too, however, anyone is welcome. Located on Camac Street.
