Pets are an important part of many people’s lives and that includes contestants who will be on “The Bachelor” 2011 season with Brad Womack. ABC.go.com had the profiles of all 30 women who form the cast vying for Brad’s heart. “The Bachelor” women have a lot of details in their bios for season 15 and the one regarding pets were worth compiling information on its own.

Pets and “The Bachelor” 2011 Contestants

Britnee, who’s 25 and from Hollan, Pennsylvania loves her Shitzu dog.

The paralegal said of her pet on the ABC “Bachelor” profile, “Tinkerbell, she is my life, my heart, and my everything. She’s a Shitzu and the prettiest princess.”

Britt, a 25-year-old Food Writer from Woodinville, Washington has a rabbit “named Norbert. He’s potty trained and doesn’t live in a cage; which is pretty cool.”

Chantal from Mercer Island, Washington has 3 pets. Boy, you can bet those pets are missed their mommy while she was away taping “The Bachelor.” The 28-year-old has two Birman cats and one Pomeranian dog.

Jill, 28, from Houston, Texas was excited to tell ABC she has a dog.

The sales director who’s one of “The Bachelor” 2011 contestants answered “Yes!” in her bio on having a pet. The name of her dog is “Abby,(a) miniature Cocker Spaniel.”

Lauren, a high school teacher from Culpeper, Virginia, is another contestant who has a small dog. The 26-year-old’s pet is a toy Poodle named Gabby.

Lindsay from Plano, Texas enjoys a dog she shares with other members of her family. The 25-year-old 1st grade teacher says the family pet, Griffon, is half Chow half Australian Shepherd.

Marissa, a 26-year-old sports publicist from Mesa, Arizona owns a Boston Terrier as her pet. So cute!

Meghan, 30, is one of “The Bachelor” 2011 contestants with a funny story behind her pet. The fashion marketer from Princeton, New Jersey explains how her parents wound up with her Bulldog puppy.

“Funny story – I bought a baby bulldog in the window of a pet store last year but my building doesn’t allow animals so I gave her to my parents. My Dad couldn’t be happier – my Mom wants to kill me.”

Raichel, 29, is a manscaper. What a career for a gal to have! She’s from Fullerton, California and loves her pet a lot.

“I have a Yorkie named Otis, so adorable!!” the contestant’s bio reads.

Sarah L. from Saginaw, Michigan has two pets altogether, including her parents’ cat. The 25-year-old musical theatre performer shares, “My parents have a cat named Snowball. I have a Pomeranian named Foxx.”

Several contestants for “The Bachelor” 2011 season like small dogs, which isn’t too surprising. Even Vienna in Jake’s season had her famous pup, Chloe, near her side. Her pet was considered an issue in her brief engagement to Jake as well before they broke up.

Pets depend on their family for security, so they were definitely happy to see their mommy walk through the door at home after being eliminated. Probably the only happy ones!
