Recently I was in Walgreens drugstore and saw that they had Liquid soft gels Anti-Aging total body daily defense, reduced down from $15.59 to $10.00. I looked at the packaging and it states that they are ‘Doctor Developed’ and have a longevity formula.
For the past 5 or 6 weeks, both Len and I have been rundown, either with a cold, flu, allergies, cough, or a virus. We have taken cough medicines, nighttime cold relief, cough drops, allergy nasal sprays, eye drops, and Claritin, but it just still keeps coming back.
I am reluctant to give Len anything over the counter, as he is on insulin twice a day, and 20 pills for heart, high blood pressure, cholesterol, and so much more. However, I figured that I would see if these anti-aging pills would give me some energy, and start making me feel good again.
The box is really large, and so it the bottle. When I removed the seal, and opened it up, the bottle was only one third full. The liquid soft gels look just like the fish oil ones. They are a mid brown color, and are about an inch in length.
It states for adults to take 2 daily.
Anti-Aging Total Body Daily Defense website states:
“This exclusive all-in-one blend was specially formulated to help protect and restore your body’s well being at the deepest levels, including replacing the CoQ10 necessary for the basic functioning of cells that can be lost as you age. Resveratrol, found in red wine, has been researched for cardiovascular benefits. Ginkgo Biloba has long been used to mental performance, while the potent antioxidants Bilberry and Lutein help support vision.”
These should be taken as well as, a daily multivitamin, and eating a good diet.
I purchased them 3 weeks ago, and have been taking 2 a day. There were 50 liquid soft gels in the bottle, so I have 4 days left. I stopped taking my Omega-3 supplement, when I read on the box that these contain Fish Oil.
They have Vitamin D, 1000 IU.
Vitamin B6 25mg
Folic Acid 800 mcg
Vitamin B12 100 mcg
Fish Oil 1034 mg
Anti-aging blend 462 mg
Hawthorne, Ginkgo extract, Lutein, Bilberry extract, Green Tea extract, Pomegranate extract.
The above are to help the heart, memory, vision, and antioxidants. They are supposed to help counter the effects of aging.
I started taking these soft gels 2 weeks into having this virus, and they haven’t made me feel any better. I still feel lethargic from time to time, and just don’t have the get up, and go in me.
I will continue to use them for the final 4 days, so that I will have used the 25 day supply. In my honest opinion, I have to say that they haven’t given me a lift in the slightest. Being called ‘ Total Body Daily defense’, I thought that they would have shown me some improvement.
My eyes are still a little blurred, but I believe that is the high pollen levels we have in Florida, right now.
Perhaps my brain, heart and vision have been helped with this dietary supplement, but only time will tell, and that would be if I continued to buy them, and use them over a very long period of time.
I will continue to take my daily multivitamin, my Omega-3 fish oil, Vitamin C, and calcium with Vitamin D. These have always supported my health, and I am happy with them.
