New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate and have fun. If you are having a party that children will be attending you will want to have to activities for the children to keep them busy and have some fun. Here are some New Year’s Eve crafts you can use to keep the little ones busy and entertained.
New Year’s Eve Craft # 1- Paper Plate Noise Maker
Your little one will love ringing in the New Year with this noise maker. For this craft you will need a miniature paper plate, paper streamers, craft jewels, glue, scissors, and beads. You will fold the paper plate in half and glue the streamers around the rim of the plate on the inside. After the streamers are glued you will place the beads on the inside of the plate to create the noise maker. Glue the paper plate closed and then decorate the outside of the plate.
New Year’s Eve Craft # 2- Water Bottle Noise Maker
This is another great noise maker to help ring in the New Year. You could even let the children choose between the two noise makers. You will need an empty water bottle, white tissue paper, scraps of colored tissue paper, crepe paper, glue, scissors, beads, and water. You will put the beads inside the water bottle and then decorate the outside of the bottle with the different tissue paper.
New Year’s Eve Craft # 3- Sparkly Foam Sequin Ball
This is a cute little ball that kids will love making and then could use the next Christmas as an ornament on the tree. Items needed for this craft are a 2″ foam ball, sequins, white craft glue, and a pipe cleaner. First you will stick the pipe cleaner into the foam ball and make a loop before placing the other end in the ball. Using glue you will cover the ball with the sequins.
New Year’s Eve Craft # 4- Countdown Clock for Kids
Help the kids keep track of what time it is during the night with this countdown clock. You will need a paper plate, black craft foam, purple craft foam, purple foam circle, metal fastener, glitter glue, black marker, craft glue, scissors. You will use the black foam for the clock hands and attach them with the metal fastener. Use a marker to write on the clock numbers.
