It seems that “Medium” never got the accolades that it deserved. And for those of you who never had the pleasure of watching the loving and caring Dubois family interact with each other, the show has come to an end. Most people on many of the “Medium” fan sites were not even aware that this would be the season finale.
The season finale was like riding an emotional roller coaster. The whole setting took place in Allison’s dream. Her dream sent you through a maze of trying to figure out what was real and what is not.
This final episode was one which focused on Joe’s and Allison’s undying love that they share for one another. Although tragedy has befallen them, not even death, space nor time can keep them apart from one another. Viewers stomachs were twisted into all sorts of knots as they realized that Joe was gone and never coming back.
Joe and Allison have such a great bond with one another that even in death, she couldn’t let Joe go. She held on to the fact that he may still be alive. The viewers believed it as well. What a shocker when watchers of “Medium” discovered that Joe had really died. What a sad moment of realization for fans of “Medium” all across America.
Many will be sad to see the show end. It was truly a shocker for a lot of the viewers. Most of the viewers had absolutely no clue that this would be the final episode. As “Medium” was on, you prayed that Allison would wake up from this horrible nightmare. Many questioned how could they allow Joe to be killed off.
“Medium” did an excellent job in tying up loose ends. The television series showed its viewers exactly what became of every single character on the show. The way they let each character say goodbye was very heartwarming. They showed each of the characters from the beginning of season 1 all the way through to the final season.
The season finale was the best I’ve seen in a while. “Medium” will be greatly missed. But for those of you who were not lucky enough to bring “Medium” into your households every week, there is no need to be disappointed. You can view all of the seasons soon on DVD. Fans of “Medium” will rush to get their copies of one of TV’s best longest running series of all times.
