My late mother was a wonderful cook and baker. I was raised on real homemade food and baked goods that didn’t come from packages. Mom made everything from scratch. One of my favorite goodies was her Chocolate Chip cookies. When I have the time, I still make these delectable sweets from scratch too. Other times I bake-up tubs of Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Cookies weren’t on my shopping list recently. When I spotted a box of Kroger The truly Awesome homestyle chocolate chip cookie, I had to put them to the test. Here is my product review:
These cookies are distributed by The Kroger Company. They come in a small 7.2-ounce box. There are 8 chocolate chip cookies in a box. I believe they were around 3 bucks a box. They are a new product from Kroger. According to the box, “Chocolate Chips Are the #1 Ingredient”- “Made with Real Butter” – “No Added Preservatives or Artificial Flavors”.
