Holly Madison is the star of “Holly’s World” on E! Network. She was once the main girlfriend of Hugh Hefner of Playboy and has been in his magazine Playboy more than once. Holly did an amazing photo shoot that was underwater for her pictorial. She came up with this idea all on her own. Now Crystal Harris doing her own Playboy shoot and it seems she is copying the one Holly did in the past. Both girls take to twitter to show how they feel about it. Read on to see what has been going on if you missed it.
This all started on January 27, 2011 when Crystal tweeted, “Shooting underwater!! So exciting ….soooo cold!” along with a picture of herself. Soon after Holly tweets, “Copycats annoy the crap out of me! I’m inspired by a lot of people, but I like to give credit and come up w/my own stuff, too!” Followed by, “I feel bad for people who don’t have their own personalities.”
A bit later we see that Crystal has noticed the comments and tweets,”@HBKallTheWay the underwater shots were photographers idea since I grew up on the beach& am obsessed w ocean, boats, marine life & mermaids.” Maybe Hef just likes girls who enjoy the same things. Both of these girls are known to love Disney movies so you never know honestly.
Soon after Crystal tweeted,”When you are angry or frustrated, what comes out? Whatever it is, it’s a good indication of what you’re made of. -H. Jackson Brown, Jr.” I am sure this was meant toward Holly for being upset. Hef even retweeted it for her. Crystal has been tactful about the whole deal and not said anymore than this so far on Twitter.
Somehow Hugh Hefner ended up right in the middle of the Twitter drama. He tweets,”@srenner0514 In Holly’s underwater shoot, she was in chains. We didn’t use it because it wasn’t very flattering.” “@srenner0514 Holly’s underwater shoot was inspired by a Vegas magician. Crystal’s was inspired by Disney’s Little Mermaid. Very different.”
Holly even responded to Hef on Twitter saying,”@hughhefner my underwater shoot was inspired by a scuba diving lesson in the Mansion pool. I saw how neat all the rocks looked underwater. Please don’t put words in my mouth and say it was inspired by “a Vegas magician”. I shot several scenarios underwater.”
I personally feel bad for both girls that this has turned into so much drama. Who knows what the truth really is, but I wish them both the best.
