You’ve dealt with snow, sleet, maybe a blizzard or two (and I’m not talking about the ice cream.) Winter blues hit everyone, and while next month will be full of April Showers and Easter Bunnies, March is kind of the month of limbo. We want to embrace spring, but the cold temperatures and often last snow makes us want to stay hibernated. But have no fear, these simple ideas will have you sprung in no time!
GLADE SEASONAL AIR FRESHENERS
Every season, Glade makes a few seasonal sprays. I’m currently obsessed with Bring on the Blossoms, a breezy flowery scent, and Sparkle of Spring, a mix of lime, ginger & vanilla. They’ll have your house smelling like a walk in the park in no time.
Target has an amazing selection of rain boots, most for $24.99 or under. I’m loving the flowery print ones, but there are plenty to choose from. Not only super handy, but children’s rain boots look amazing as replacements for flower pots in your garden. My tip? Plant tulips in the rain boots for a true spring awakening.
Bright colored nail polish on your toes has a way of boosting your mood. This month, grab a bright green hue in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. I’m partial to 5 Below’s selection of 3 for $5 polishes in bright and fun shades.
RITA’S WATER ICE
If you don’t like in Pennsylvania, you might want to skip ahead because Rita’s isn’t a national chain. But, Rita’s Italian/Water Ice is one of the greatest things about spring. An italian ice can brighten any day.
