Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1764- St Louis founded as a French trading post by Pierre Laclade Ligue

1804- New Jersey becomes last northern state to abolish slavery

1903- 1st Teddy Bear introduced in America, made by Morris & Rose Michtom

1932 – George Burns & Gracie Allen debuted as regulars on “Guy Lombardo Show”

1933 – President-elect Franklin Roosevelt survives assassination attempt

1919-1965 –Nat King Cole was a famous US singer/jazz pianist (Unforgettable, Mona Lisa), he smoked three packs of cigarettes a day which killed him

1891-1967 –William C Bullitt was the 1st US ambassador in USSR

1930-1968 –Little Walter was a US blues harmonica player who was compared to Jimmy Hendrix

1943-1981 –Mike Bloomfield was a US musician/guitarist/composer/rocker for Electric Flag and other groups, dies of drug overdose at 36

1918-1988 –Richard P Feynman was a US physicist who won the Nobel Prize in 1965 Physical Law

1910-1992 –William H Schuman was a US composer who won the Pulitzer Prize for music/President of Julliard and left to become the first President of Lincoln Center

1927-1996 –McLean Stevenson was a US actor who played Lt. Colonel Henry Blake on M*A*S*H

1974-1999 –Big L was an American rapper from New York City, he was shot and killed before his second album was released, Big L made important contributions to the Hip Hop industry in New York City

1915-2007 –Ray Evans was an American songwriter who partnered with Jay Livingston to compose songs for films
