When the moonlight shines down upon my face each night, I will know it is you sweeping your soft hand across my brow.
When a star in the night sky twinkles, I will know it is you looking down upon me with your new heavenly eyes.
When the sun of the morning is beaming on my face, I will know it is you saying, “It is time to get up now.”
When the warmth of the sun touches my skin in the day, I will know it is you hugging me from the skies.
When the wind passes by each day, I will know it is you whispering that you love me and are waiting for me to grow old.
When I hear the water flowing in the rivers, it will remind that you are watching the crystal seas in Heaven.
When I hear the sound of coins clashing together, it will remind me that you are walking with Jesus on streets of gold.
When the birds chirp sweetly from tree to tree, it will help me remember you singing to me.
When clouds in the blue sky look so soft and white, it will tell me your no longer in pain because God made you just right.
When I see the birds fly high in the sky, it will remind me that you have wings and no longer cry.
When you’re gone from Earth, I will try not to be selfish, for you are not mine. You belong to our Father in Heaven.
When you’re gone from Earth, I will try and remember that I will meet you some day once again.
When you’re gone from Earth, I will remind myself that this is our temporary place, and that Heaven is our home and you will be seeing our makers face.
When you get to Heaven, Grandmother, I will miss you so. But I will hold you forever in Heaven, I know!
When you meet Jesus high in the skies, he will give you a new body and wings to fly.
When you reach eternity, don’t worry, we won’t be very long. Life on Earth is short and prepares us for Home.
The memories created during our life on Earth, is only preparation for our real eternal birth.
God gave us all a journey that will some day end, but really it’s a new beginning to be with our best friend.
I know you will be watching over us all and talking to Jesus once and for all.
We will grieve for a while Grandmother dear, but you said times heals pain and that it’s our fear.
So we ask the Lord to guide our way as we all share the moment of your passing today.
You have begun a new life now with our heavenly Father, and you’re happy and free and loved like no other.
We asked the Lord to take away your pain, but when He answered our prayer, our faces were filled with rain.
In Heaven, Dearest Grandmother, there are no tears. God wipes them away and takes away your fear.
I will miss our sweet tender talks we had every other day and the secrets we shared along our way.
But I know you’re not mine and we will meet again someday. So I will not say goodbye, know I love you forever and always!
Your sweet dearest grand-daughter
