You probably pass it every day, that ubiquitous sign wired to a school ground chain link fence, which read thus: “Crime Doesn’t Pay – Earn Dollars – $….anonymously – 1-800-348-5232. In small letters at the bottom is found the county (which ever your in) followed by the title: “Crime Stoppers.” The average individual glancing at this sign hardly gives it a second thought. One would assume the idea behind the placard is law enforcements solicitation, encouraging people to reveal someones present or future unlawful act. Innocent enough, but behind such a concept is a system so heinous and corrupt, that it exposes the true darker nature of humans.
An in-depth examination of what local law enforcement has placed before the public will reveal how our justice system is continuing to breed a new generation of Informants, only younger. Starting with: “Crime Doesn’t Pay.” We all know that this is patently deceptive. Crime does pay, and pay handsomely, as we can see all around us in the government, public and in private life. It is only when criminals are caught that they, conversely, must, “Pay the Price.”
It is the next part of the proposal that the Law hopes will snare an individual into revealing something criminal or maybe not, for: MONEY. It reads: “Earn Dollars – $…..anonymously.” In this declaration is embedded the element that has destroyed, nations, societies and lives. We are taught from childhood, by Churches and Schools that morals not money should motivate our actions. Here openly, that no one seems to comprehend, is the proof that this system is being perpetuated by taking advantage of our very base nature, that money justifies any and all of our actions. Not that it is new, for this perfidious scheme has been perpetuated throughout history. A scrutiny of the past, will reveal the loathsome effects it has had upon civilization in general.
We start with the most well known example, which is from the Judaic-Christian bible. It is the fable of, Judas’ betrayal of Jesus, for 30 pieces of silver. Even though later, Judas admits to the priests that he had betrayed an innocent man, Jesus was still crucified. Another example, was the, “Battle of Thermopylae,” where 7000 Greeks held off a 100,000 man Persian army for five days in a small pass. The Greeks were betrayed by one of their own, when he reveals, to the Persians, a small path leading behind Greek lines. The most horrific example of this conduct, is the Nazi of WW II. They were masters of paying and intimidating people into informing on friends, neighbors and government. No one in or out of their party was immune from informants. This was partly responsible for the Third Reich’s downfall. Everyone was to petrified to speak against the regime, which led to a lack of action.
Even today the U.S. military successes in capturing, so called: Militants and Terrorists, in Iraq and Afghanistan is not through aggressive combat action. It is by enticing local people, with exorbitant amounts of money, to be informants. In most cases the informants deceptively betray innocent people for the money. The U.S. government allocate millions for this dehumanizing practice. Examples abound of: informers, betrayer and traitors throughout history. It is now time to stop Law Enforcement from their head long plunge into a Nazi type police state and stop their program to breed a, “Cult of Informants.”
