After seeing Chug Vanilla Milk Shakes and Chug Chocolate Milk Shakes in the dairy cooler at my local CVS Pharmacy for several weeks, I began drinking them approximately two weeks ago. While I enjoyed the flavor of the vanilla milk shake, I really like the chocolate variety.
Presented here, as a service to the consumer at large, is an article which reviews and examines Chug Chocolate Milk Shake.
The net weight of the standard sized container of Chug Chocolate Milk Shake is 12 fluid ounces (354 ml). One bottle counts as one serving. With the container of this milk shake that I recently consumed, I received two servings.
Partly due to the high sugar content of this beverage, as with the vanilla variety, I chose to drink roughly half of the shake, then re – closed the cap and refrigerated the remainder. I drank the rest of the milk shake the following day and as with the vanilla variety that I also recently consumed, the remainder of the milkshake tasted great and its consistency was perfectly fine the following day.
The regular retail price charged for one 12 ounce Chug Chocolate Milk Shake at Hartford, Connecticut area food retailers ranges between $1.29 and $1.49. I definitely think that this price is reasonable.
Consistency / Texture
This chocolate milk shake offers a pleasing texture that is not quite as thick as most restaurant made milk shakes, but it is fairly thick and frothy. The shake offers a satisfying mouth – feel that makes it easy to want to driink large quantities of it.
When I recently drank the Chug Vanilla Milk Shake, I was not hugely impressed with its consistency. I thought it seemed somewhat thin, but still enjoyable. To me, the consistency of the chocolate variety seems more like that of a ‘real’ milkshake.

Taste / Flavor
I must say, the flavor offered by Chug Chocolate Milk Shake really impresses me. So much in fact, that I purchased two more of them tonight. The chocolate flavor is very pleasant and appetizing and I find it hard to stop drinking this milk shake once I’ve started.
To be honest, while I basically enjoy the flavor of Chug Vanilla Milk Shake, I think that the chocolate flavor tastes much better. The high sugar content of this product, however, makes me limit my intake to one half of a shake at a time. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign Chug Chocolate Milk Shake a rating of 9.5.
Chug Chocolate Milk Shake is packaged in what I can only describe as a sensuously shaped plastic bottle that features an attractive brown and white label. The front label features an appealing illustration of a milk shake being poured into a glass and the rear label lists all relevant ingredient and nutritional information.
The bottle opens easily and it re-closes effectively. I think that is an important factor when reviewing this product. Because I like to drink roughly one half of these shakes at a time, being able to securely re-close the bottle, to keep the remainder fresh is integral. Chug Chocolate Milk Shake still tastes nice and fresh the day after it was opened, when refrigerated.
If you are a seeking a fun-to-drink, satisying beverage, Chug Chocolate Milk Shake fits the bill. I think that Chug Milk Shakes are exciting products that are reasonably priced. Available at food retailers in the north eastern United States, Chug Chocolate Milk Shake is highly recommended by this food writer.
