Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe and the regular Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Deluxe are both tasty, but the spicy one is great when you want an extra kick.
The deluxe sandwiches are the same as the regular; only they add lettuce, tomato and your choice of American, Provolone or Pepper jack cheeses.
For my recent Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken sandwich review, I asked for the provolone cheese. The new Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich was on fire! I loved the combination of provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and spicy chicken.
My boys have always loved the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, but it can be rather bland when you are in the mood for something spicy. Their spicy chicken sandwich is a great addition to the menu. If it seems too spicy, you can always have it with their cole slaw.
Chick-fil-a is focusing more on nutrition and health with suggested low calorie, low fat and low carb meals. I suggest holding the cheese and asking for just lettuce and tomato on the deluxe sandwiches. Also request they hold the butter on the bread.
Here are a few things I learned from my Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe review:
No. 1: Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken sandwich deluxe calories: The spicy chicken deluxe has 580 calories versus the spicy chicken with 490 calories and the classic chicken with 430.
No. 2: Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich deluxe fat: The spicy chicken deluxe has 27 grams of fat compared to the spicy chicken with 20 grams of fat and the classic chicken with 17 grams of fat.
No. 3: Chick-fil-A spicy chicken deluxe nutritional facts: The spicy deluxe has 4 grams of fiber, 9 grams of sugar and 36 grams of protein. The spicy chicken has 4 grams of fiber, 8 grams of sugar and 31 grams of protein. The classic chicken has 3 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar and 31 grams of protein.
No. 4: For toppings, the light mayonnaise at Chick-fil-A adds another 40 calories and 4 grams of fat, while the regular mayonnaise adds 10 grams of fat and 90 calories.
No. 5: Chick-fil-A allergens: Chick-fil-A uses 100 percent refined peanut oil for their breaded chicken. The oil is heat processed and used to pressure cook their chicken.
For taste, I give the regular Chick-fil-A deluxe sandwich 4.7 out of 5 stars and the spicy deluxe 4.5 out of 5 stars. I preferred the classic taste of their regular chicken sandwich, but the spicy one was great for an occasional change.
