The Charlie Sheen UStream webcast is his only show now. Although the Charlie Sheen UStream channel was launched to poor reviews on Saturday night, he is working to revamp his webcast messages. For his second episode, he got rid of the talk show format, and stuck to calling one of his friends. Yesterday, right after he was fired, viewers logged back onto the webcast to see his reaction. However, the third episode of the show was just another pretaped phone call.
Hours before he was officially fired, the now unemployed actor made another call to his friend, Bob Maron. This time, he talked about his plans to hire interns, and to make an infomercial for his proposed books.
The second Charlie Sheen UStream webcast showed him using several curse words, and promising to make his show about “truth torpedoes.” In this third installment, he is a little less foul mouthed, although he still looks less than completely presentable.
His wildest quote this time was how he and his “people” had “all the answers” and that his plan was gold. Yet this came hours before his plan resulted in his firing from Two and a Half Men. Therefore, the fact that he posted a pretaped webcast may have disappointed his remaining followers.
Yet since the UStream page is still very active, he should have another show up soon enough. But his reactions after being fired have already been telling, since he vowed to sue CBS, Warner Brothers and Chuck Lorre, and declared he was “free at last” while holding up a machete on a roof top.
Now that he has no sitcom to go back to, the webcast is the only show Sheen will be on for a while. Mark Cuban had been talking about making a reality show for him on HDNet, and he may be in need of it soon enough. But now that CBS has finally let him go, Cuban is probably being warned further about getting sucked into his world.
Already, Sheen’s program, and his life in general, is a reality show unto itself. However, he is his own boss online, and seems less reluctant to fire himself than CBS ultimately was. In fact, since he didn’t post his reactions to being fired on the webcast, it may fuel anticipation further for his next episode.
The next UStream clip will likely go up overnight, given his schedule so far. By then, Sheen’s Korner should reveal more about his next step, and how he plans to keep winning.
