Taking his anger to a whole new level, Charlie Sheen is now suing Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre for $100 million.
The “Hot Shots” star is also suing on behalf of the “Two and a Half Men” cast and crew, asking for punitive charges.
Sheen’s lawyer, Marty Singer, said in a statement, “Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series, Two and a Half Men, in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre’s own conduct.”
On the contrary, Lorre’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman, told The Hollywood Reporter, “Chuck is very concerned for Charlie’s health. We all believe Warner Bros. did the right thing given the situation Mr. Sheen created.”
Treating fans to a little more new material, Charlie Sheen’s cooking sketch for “Funny or Die” has officially been released.
Wearing a tiger striped chef’s cap with a “Winning Recipes” apron, the former “Two and a Half Men” star proudly showed off his culinary skills during the laughable effort.
A producer from “Funny or Die” told Us magazine of the creation, “The skit was produced as a way to remind people he knows what everyone is thinking and he’s in on it too.”
With the script being written by former SNL writer and producer Adam McKay, another insider tells Us of the “Winning Recipes” skit, “Charlie doesn’t want to do more press like last week — that was a moment in time for him. But while he’s dealing with the custody cases and the lawsuit, he needs to rethink some things about how to keep his fans happy. He’s an entertainer first.”
Meanwhile, with all the speculation regarding who could replace Sheen on “Two and a Half Men”, it’s since been revealed that Rob Lowe won’t be taking the gig.
According to Gossip Cop, the “West Wing” stud is locked in to a contract with “Parks & Recreation,” and won’t be able to do “Men.”
Sheen didn’t seem to mind the though to Lowe in his old role, though. During a radio interview, Charlie sang Rob’s praises.
“He’s a buddy of mine. He’s a beautiful man. He’s a brilliant actor, and I hope he does it and kicks its a** because I still get [paid].”
On top of his legal woes, Charlie Sheen now has another hurdle to overcome: If he wants to see his kids, he has to get a psychological evaluation, according to Brooke Mueller.
Miss Mueller, who has twin boys Max and Bob with Sheen, says she’s scared to let her sons go with their father in light of his recent behavior.
An insider told press, “Brooke is extremely concerned for the safety of Bob and Max when it comes to being with their father. She is demanding that Charlie get a full mental health examination before he is allowed to have his next visit with the boys.
“Brooke will not waiver on this demand, period. The mental health professional would be someone that both parties agree to, however, Charlie is absolutely refusing to undergo any examination, period.”
“If Brooke needs to go to court to make this happen she will. Brooke won’t allow the boys to be with their father again until the mental health evaluation takes place.”
