Why People Celebrate Their Pet’s Birthday
People celebrate their pets because they consider the pet an important part of the family. They also do it for social interaction with friends and family and as a play date for their pet to socialize with other dogs. They also do it because it is fun.
As I stated earlier, I do not throw a birthday party celebration on my dog’s birthday, but I do know the date of each of their birthdays. They may get a new toy, or an extra treat that day, but that is the extent of our celebrating.
It is a cute and novel idea that appears to be catching on. More and more bakeries are springing up that cater exclusively to pet food and snacks. Most advertise as being all natural and healthy. There must be a market for it, and there are surely a lot of happy birthday dog’s out there. So, what do you do for your pet’s birthday celebration?
