Red staters can’t be expected to remember an entire year ago, but we can. The articles “What Will the GOP Response Be to the State of the Union Address?” accurately predicted that the GOP would spend a year shafting the bottom 99%.
“Why Obama’s Priority, Health Care Reform, Hasn’t Passed Yet!” showed that the GOP would attempt to sabotage the US populace in order that they could tell red staters they did everything in their power to damage President Obama’s health care reform.
“How the GOP Has Made Obama’s Job More Difficult!” showed the GOP’s vileness.
The GOP is in the top 1%’s pockets. Remember that the article “McConnell Declares that GOP Won’t Do Anything Until Tax Cut for Rich is Accomplished.” demonstrated that the entire GOP signs on while those without suitable living conditions see GOP reject an extension to unemployment benefits.
How evil is the GOP? How could anyone have voted for them? Many red state GOP voters have nothing-including unemployment benefits.
The GOP is getting pressed by its Tea Partiers to do some dastardly actions including not letting the US debt limit rise. This showdown will be in March. The GOP is trying to make President Obama make concessions to avert this crisis.
Remember that the article “President Obama Won’t Reduce the Social Safety Net in Order to Decrease Deficit!” which clearly enunciates that he’ll be pressed but President Obama will not acquiesce to the GOP’s threats.
Obama’s spirit pf bipartisanship with a group of obstructionist party of no members is alarming, but when the GOP tries to get him to signoff on reducing the US social safety net he’ll back the bottom 99%!
The article ” GOP: Do as We Say, Not as We Did” puts the GOP in a bind with all the sentient beings in the US.
The article states “Eric Cantor’s got a problem. He said so himself, right in front of the TV cameras….
And there he was on Wednesday, smirking for the cameras even as he revealed his problem. This was the very day, you’ll recall, that Mr. Cantor’s Republican colleagues in the House voted to repeal health-care reform, one of the signature accomplishments of the Obama administration’s first two years. Voted to repeal it, and replace it with… with…
They’ll get back to you on that.”
They have no concern for policy only Rove’s “permanent campaign”!
The House GOP had their show vote, but every US citizen who is barely aware of politics knows it will go nowhere as the article states “And now it’s on to the Senate, where the “Let’s Pretend It Never Happened Act of 2011″ will almost certainly die a quick death. Or a slow death.”
Do you think that each GOP chamber of Congress communicates with each other? The GOP would have the red staters believe that as the article illustrates how Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, has openly proclaimed that his goal is to make President Obama a 1 term President and to do that he believes he should obstruct all legislation from passing-thus having a 2012 campaign slogan of a “Democratic President leading a Democratic do-nothing Congress”. I can see that propaganda flowing from every GOP candidate in 2012.
The cunning GOP members all realize that their red state information free adherents only respond to appeals to their baser instincts-hate, fear and war mongering, the staple of GOP politics. They can act as ineptly as they please as long as they do it a full throated condemnation of the socialist foreigner Barak Hussein Obama.
Who knows what the GOP House knows about the GOP Senate. This Cantor McConnell alleged confusion is just another method used by the GOP to make sure nothing happens. Their activities describe a GOP with no concern for policy–only with political gain.
