Soup is a filling, low calorie meal that is great for any time of day. My children look forward to enjoying a hot bowl with a sandwich or crackers just as much as I do. My little one spotted Campbell’s Double Noodle Soup in the grocery store the other day and asked me to make it for lunch. This brand is known for it’s quality and affordable prices, so I readily agreed.
The front of the package definitely appeals to kids. The bubble letters in the name and the illustration of a heaping bowl of noodles is geared towards the youngest of consumers. The low price of $1.99 for an eleven ounce can appeals to us parents who must work to stretch those food dollars every week.
Preparation of this canned soup is quite easy and can be performed by children who have a knowledge of kitchen safety. After removing the lid by pulling on the round ring, the contents of the can are poured into a small saucepan and combined with a can of water. A low to medium level of heat is all that is needed to have a tasty bowl ready in minutes. The product should be stirred occasionally to ensure that all the ingredients and seasonings are well blended. If an even faster cooking method is desired, combining the contents and water in a microwave safe container and then heating on high for only one minute will yield the same results. When cooking in the microwave, the container should be covered to prevent splattering.

My daughter and I were very impressed with Campbell’s Double Noodle Soup. Not only was the broth just as tasty as ever, the amount of noodles was quite plentiful. There were so many in this soup that my daughter became full before finishing her lunch. I generously stepped in and helped her out. The added noodles made this meal even more filling and more satisfying. I would definitely purchase this product again and give it a very enthusiastic five out five food stars.
