Mega corporations have been bonding together with the Bundle and Save theory to provide customers with discount rates on Internet services, TV, phone options, etc. The truth is, they always fall short of their initial promises and you end up being the big looser.
You may start off on solid ground, but should you cut down a program or two to better accommodate your family’s’ techno needs, you’re so in for the nightmare of your life, and there is no turning back. Charges are created to your account that don’t add up, pro ratings take on a life of their own and add-ons not requested, all find their way into your next bill. And once that crack appears, it just gets bigger and bigger until the deal is whacked out of proportion.
Now you spend hours on the phone trying to sort out your different charges, your outsource rep.has no clue about your issues, after all that is perhaps the eight rep. (whatever), you have talked to, and then you wait for a corrected bill. This never happens, instead canceled fees are squeezed into the bill (for a TV channel you never ordered in the first place), but heck it’s all part of the convenience of one bill……isn’t it?
So you wait again for another correction, meanwhile, your late fees are just working the calculator at rattle speed. And in the end, it’s a no win situation that begs you to give in. This is a strategy they corner you with, and if you don’t cough up all those extra charges raked up, they try to hang you by your credit score. You are so knotted up into their system that there is no way of getting out…………, or so they think.!
Here’s a plan for you! Don’t get intimidated, instead sue them, take them to court if they touch your credit score, there are so many customers in the same boat that would love to get on the band wagon with you.
If Walmart can get sued for their mis-deeds with employees, so much more the fraudulent tycoons of today can too. And believe me, there is a way to get out of this mess, for the love of God, don’t settle your hard made earnings away.
It may seem a bit nerve racking at first., but it can be done. Cancel the whole package deal and just walk away.
Shop around for individual services and bargain rates. Get only the services that suit your family and even cut down on some. You will be happier with the new services received, and may even want to give yourself a ‘hi five’!
And for those who have not yet got the bundle packages but are considering it…..Don’t!
Save yourself a lot of good time, anguish and money. Kudos dude.
