For my Bistro MD Review, I tried their chicken with lentils, which is one of lunches offered on the diet meal delivery system.
The chicken and Greek inspired lentils, includes a grilled chicken breast, lentils, carrots and a citrus-scented leaf spinach. It’s not the most exciting meal, but extremely healthy!
Included in the shipment of Bistro MD diet meal delivery is a weekly menu which outlines the meals. I did think it was a bit much to have a breakfast (leaf spinach and mushroom omelet) followed by spinach for lunch. The dinner, salmon fillet with roasted pepper puree, also included spinach, but I had opted out of the fish dinners. They provided me with apricot glazed pork instead (but also with spinach).
In terms of taste, the Bistro MD chicken with lentils was appetizing but nothing to write home about. The chicken was quite good, however, for a frozen meal. It did taste grilled, and heated up nicely in the oven. I opted not to follow their microwave directions because I don’t like the way food turns out after being in the microwave.
I cooked the Bistro MD chicken and lentils in the oven in a glass container at 350 for about 40 minutes. I do suggest removing the dollop of Greek yogurt before cooking and then returning it to the dish.
So, how do the Bistro MD meals taste? This particular one was a little on the bland side. I did add my own seasoning to this dish which did help. I sprinkled on salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Overall the Bistro MD taste is great, but some more so than others!
Bistro MD is a meal delivery endorsed by the Dr. Phil diet and Dr. Caroline Cederquist. The Bistro MD diet delivery meals are distributed out of Naples, Florida.
Here are a few things I learned from my Bistro MD review:

No. 2: Bistro MD Chicken with Lentils fat: 4 grams including 1 gram of saturated fat and no trans fats.
No. 3: Bistro MD Chicken with Lentils sodium: 230 mg.
No. 4: Bistro MD Chicken with Lentils nutritional facts: 46 carbs, 23 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, 46 grams of protein. It also contains 135 percent of the recommended Vitamin A, 25 percent Vitamin C, 15 percent calcium and 35 percent iron.
No. 5: Bistro MD Chicken with Lentils ingredients: chicken breast, chicken stock, lentils, carrots, onions, tomato paste, Greek yogurt, spinach, lemon juice and other ingredients.
I was curious about the diet delivery program endorsed by the Dr. Phil diet and the Bistro MD taste factor. The Bistro MD meals are certainly healthy. This particular dish, because it included lentils, had a whopping 23 grams of fiber which is more than most people eat all day.
I personally would opt for a different menu item rather than this one since there are so many other delicious Bistro MD lunches and dinners.
