Bart Crow Band Brewster Street Live Album Review

by tree pony

Everyone knows the old saying about everything being bigger in Texas, this is true when it comes to music also. Texas is home to some of the best Country music in the United States, the Bart Crow Band is responsible for some of the best Country music released within the last five years. This band is best known for their smash hit Wear My Ring originally featured on their album titled Finally. Recently, this band has enjoyed successful singles such as Run With the Devil and Should’ve Stayed Away. Both of these tracks were originally featured on their 2009 release titled Heartworn Tragedy. Fans of this band have been eagerly awaiting the release of their newest album titled Brewster Street Live . Bart is the only artist to ever record a live record in the famed Brewster Street Ice House, but this recording does an amazing job of setting the bar as high as possible. This outstanding promotional video would allow you to learn more about the process of making this album a reality. Ideally, what you want from a great live CD would be the experience of attending the actual concert. However, many artists fail to provide this experience due to poor acoustics and sound quality. Until now, there have been very few records that successfully replicate the experience of purchasing a concert ticket.

The Brewster Street Live CD does an amazing job of allowing you to experience a concert in the comfort of your own home. University students are usually on a very fixed income, this recording allows access to all of their favorite music without a cover charge or ticket expense. The album includes 17 tracks in total with a run time of 1:11 from start to finish. All of the greatest songs ever recorded by this band are featured on this CD, this is something that very few artists will offer. Some of the best songs include Driftin In The Wind , Understand , Broken , Say’n Goodbye , Backdown and I Still Think About Her . Additionally, the smash singles discussed above are also included on this CD. This album also features two songs that I would love to have this band play at my wedding, Traded It All For Love and All I Need. These two tracks alone are worth the price of the album. Since a variety of music is included on the disc, you will find a fair amount of introspective lyrics. However, there is also a great mixture of Popular music themes for listeners to appreciate. I would rate this release a 4.5/5, it recreates the concert experience while brining you some amazing music.
