The Keflings are back on Xbox Live Arcade and this time they have three worlds that need help. Your role is to help the little Keflings build a city and then a castle for their king. As you train your Keflings to help you and accumulate resources A World of Keflings can get quite complicated. To help keep gamers from wasting time by building structures that are not needed or having to wait for more resources here are some tips and hints for A World of Keflings.
A World of Keflings Tips – Resources
Because everything you build in A World of Keflings takes resources the first thing you should do is get all of your Keflings harvesting them. Split your available Keflings evenly between their world’s resources. Have each Keflings deliver the resources they harvest instead of letting them pile up all over the map. As additional resources become available keep having your new Keflings split evenly between them. Once you unlock the ability to process base resources into cut versions, like the planks and cut stone, have half of your resources processed and the other half keep depositing like normal. By keeping things evenly being harvested you should always have enough resources on hand to build your next structures.
A World of Keflings Tips – Structures
Any time you find or receive a heart in A World of Keflings immediately take a break from whatever you are working on and build a new house. This gives you more Keflings to harvest and transport resources. Try to build or move your structures so that your Keflings have the least amount of traveling possible. For example, place the lumber mill next to the trees that are being harvested, and next to that place the carving center that turns the planks into carved wood. By keeping buildings that progress the resources near each other it saves your Keflings travel time and allows them to harvest more quickly.
A World of Keflings Tips – Management and Helpers
As you get later in the game A World of Keflings can get complicated with multiple advanced resources needed to build each piece of your structures. Have Doug and his friends carry all your building pieces while you move around the carved wood, metal, stained glass and magic potions. Instead of using Keflings to transport planks, cut stone and gems have them continue to harvest resources. Then when you need these processed resources take them to them yourself. Since you can carry 15 to 20 at a time this is much faster than allowing Keflings to do it. This also keeps your Keflings from taking more resources than you need to the wrong place.
