I am a big fan of the Red Baron Supreme pizza so, when I came across New Red Baron Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, in the frozen pizzas section at my local grocery store, I was very interested! I decided to purchase it, try it and write a product review all about my experience with it. Here is what I discovered!
I discovered New Red Baron Philly Cheese Steak Pizza on sale at my local Walmart Super store. The price was around three dollars and that seemed to be a fantastic deal. I do so love many varieties of Red Baron frozen pizzas. This particular one, I had never tried before. Being a Philly and steak cheese lover, this intriguing pizza spoke to me. I submitted. It has four servings in it. The pizza toppings include seasoned beef steak, mozzarella cheese, white cheddar cheese sauce, red peppers, green peppers, onion and various other ingredients. All on a classic crust. Sounded good to me. I could not wait to try it!
I like a crispy and crunchy crust so, I decided to cook this pizza in a conventional oven. I preheated it to 400 degrees. I placed the pizza on the center rack, cooking for twenty minutes. It smelled good and looked great. When I tasted New Red Baron Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, I did like it. But. But, it was a bit dry. It needs more tomato sauce. This pizza did have a nice amount of cheese and beef steak on it. A small scattering of onions and peppers did exist. In minimal amounts. I would like to see more toppings on this pizza, along with much more tomato sauce. Since I bought it on sale, I must say that it was yummy and well worth the money that I spent on it.
The crust is indeed classic and crispy. I rate New Red Baron Philly Cheese Steak Pizza three and one half stars out of five stars. It was interesting but, I doubt if I buy it again. The dryness was hard to get past. That is my honest opinion. One serving has 340 calories in it. 120 of those calories are from fat. It has 13 grams of total fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 25 mg’s of cholesterol, 590 mg’s of sodium, 110 mg’s of potassium, 41 grams of total carbs, 2 grams of dietary fiber, 10 grams of sugars and 15 grams of protein. This pizza has nice amounts of vitamins A, C, calcium and iron in it. This product does contain soy, wheat and milk.
I enjoyed trying New Red Baron Philly Cheese Steak Pizza and writing a product review about it. It is a bit dry but, very flavorful and it does have decent amounts of beef steak and cheeses. I needed more tomato sauce to make this frozen pizza really rock. This product is made in the USA. For more information, you can visit the redbaron.com website.
