What does every movie buff look forward to in a new year? That’s right, new movies. After one year is through and we watch the award shows depicting the best actors and actresses, one can only be anxious awaiting the new releases for the upcoming year. While there are many, movies that look like they are going to be pretty good, here are three I think are worth seeing in theaters.

Starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro, this movie is an aspiring writer who is having some serious writers block. When he runs into an old friend who gives him a new pharmaceutical drug that lets him reach his fullest potential, his life completely changes for the better. But there are some side effects to this new drug and some new people who are following his every move that could lead to his ultimate downfall. This will be a great movie to see not only for aspiring writers, but for anyone who has ever found themselves in a funk, ready to reach their fullest potential. Now you can finally see what it could possibly be like.

This movie stars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in a thriller about love and fate. David Norris, (Damon) is a politician running for a seat in the US senate who meets Elise Sellas, (Blunt) but something strange happens. Damon finds himself being followed by a group of men who claim to control fate and that in order to fulfill his own dreams and for Elise to fulfill hers, they must never see each other again. David must choose whether or not he is willing to sacrifice his dreams and fight fate, for love. What is great about this movie is not only is it going to leave you on the edge of your seat, it will also make you swoon.

This movie with its star-studded cast is bound to leave you laughing until it hurts. This movie stars Natalie Portman, Danny McBride, James Franco, and Zooey Deschanel. This is a movie set back in the medieval times about two royal brothers who could not be more opposite. One being brave, handsome, and honorable, the other a slacker. When the honorable brother’s bride to be is kidnapped, the king gives the slacker brother the ultimatum to either help save her or get cut off completely. With this hilarious plot and cast, how could one not expect it to be an awesome movie.
While there are several potential movies this year that are sure to be good, these are a few I know for sure will be worth seeing in theaters. So be ready everyone its going to be an awesome year. J
